Many stories of me have been told throughout the thousands of years that I have lived on this earth, and one of the most common that is told is the story of my husband and I, it is titled "Isis and Osiris." This tale takes place throughout my home of Egypt. I discovered the grain of both wheat and barley, which grew
wild over the land along with other plants. After my discovery of grain, my husband taught our people to plant the seeds along the Nile for the best growth. He taught them to plant many things, such as corn, grain, and vines and because of this much of the land we ruled consisted of farm land with plants growing on it. This land was rich in it's beauty's and aromas, as the mortals learned to transform the plants they had grown into food the smells of freshly baked bread and newly harvested grapes being made into wine. There was also a great feast it was the greatest feast that had yet been seen in Egypt, the foods were choicer, and the wines stronger. Though this setting was beautiful it is not the only one that makes up this tale. For the second part of my story I am at Byblos which is on the coast of the Great Green sea, where I lived in a magnificent palace. But I did not stay there for long as my setting changed one where I lived along the Nile River. But in the end I found my place to live; on the island of Philae, the most sacred place of all, in the Nile a few miles upstream from Elephantine.
